We are delighted to announce that MAHK Malaysia Day 2026 will take place this September, and we can’t wait to share this special day with you.
This year, as Malaysia honours its heritage and unity on Malaysia Day 🇲🇾, MAHK proudly celebrates 49 years of carrying that heritage in Hong Kong — stepping with strength and pride into our 50th year.
Our theme, “Warisan Malaysia”, reflects our commitment to preserving and passing Malaysian culture to future generations. It is a reminder that our traditions, values, and unity thrive wherever Malaysians are, not only on Malaysia Day but every day we stand together as a community abroad.
📅 Date: 6 September 2026, Sunday
🕚 Time: 11:30am – 3:00pm (Registration starts from 10:45am)
📍 Venue: Silverbox Ballroom, 1/F, Hotel ICON, 17 Science Museum Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong

This year’s celebration will be more than just Malaysia Day — it will be a monumental event as we attempt to break a world record: participants will dance the traditional Malay Joget while proudly holding Malaysia’s national flags. 🇲🇾✨
Expect a vibrant line‑up of:
- Festive performances and a live band with a dance floor;
- Malaysian delicacies and a durian buffet as the Grand Finale 🤩 – menu is attached below;
- Cultural game booths for all ages; and
- An unforgettable chance to celebrate with fellow Malaysians and friends in Hong Kong 🌺🍴🎶

2. All lunch and durian buffet are strictly for dine-in only, no take-aways.
3. Table bundle requires at least one seat to be occupied by a MAHK member.

5. Participants of this event agree and consent to MAHK posting on its websites and digital channels any pictures or videos taken of the participants during the event.
6. If there are unforeseen circumstances, MAHK reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change the venue for the event without giving any reason and without any liability. In the event of cancellation or postponement of or the change in venue for the event, there is no refund for the tickets purchased. The decision of MAHK is final and binding.
